The Brunnen brand was launched in 1894 and grew out of the paper processing company Baier & Schneider in Heilbronn, north of Stuttgart. The founders had recognized the importance of paper and the roll ruling machine at an early stage. In the interwar period, the brand established itself and sold its business and notebooks in particular very successfully. A decade after the Second World War and the rebuilding of the destroyed company site, the demand for paper products began to increase rapidly. Today the company is managed by a great-grandson and a great-great-grandson of the one founder of the company. The notebooks, calendars and other stationery items have now been joined by numerous other office and school supplies. What has not changed, however, is the company's philosophy: Brunnen is still open to new ideas and willing to constantly convince customers anew with the high quality of its products.
