PFC Free
Perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals, or PFCs for short, are substances that are harmful to the environment and also have a major impact on our health. The chemicals are found in many everyday products such as cookware, paper, pizza boxes or textiles like rain jackets. Once they enter the environment, they spread around the world. Researchers have found traces of PFCs in drinking water, air, blood, in polar bears and in breast milk. Some PFCs can even negatively affect reproduction and cause cancer. The harmful fluorocarbons degrade only very slowly – over several hundred years – or in some cases not at all.
Lite back system
The Lite system from deuter features a flexible, stretched Delrin U-frame, which provides the necessary stability during your skiing and snowboarding adventures – and that with minimal weight. To make the backpack even lighter or to store it compactly, you can also remove the frame. In addition, the backpack has anatomical shoulder straps, an easily adjustable chest strap, a padded, breathable back with 3D AirMesh cover and body-hugging fit and a padded hip belt.
