The Brother PT-D610BTVP is a versatile labeler that is suitable for various applications. The device has a color and high-resolution display with backlight, as well as a number of other useful features that make it a reliable companion in the office or administration. In addition to use on a PC, the model can also design and print labels via Bluetooth on a smartphone or tablet. The iPrint&Label app is available for this purpose.
Integrated cutting unit
This printer has an integrated cutting unit that cuts off the print media after printing. When using continuous label or receipt rolls, you have the option of creating printed products with individual lengths.
Thermal transfer printing: durable, customized printed products
This printer uses the thermal transfer process. Here, the ink is melted onto the label paper from a separate ink ribbon and bonds firmly and permanently to the media due to the heat. This is how you produce long-lasting, durable printed products. The use of additional consumables makes handling a bit more complex compared to direct thermal printers and creates more waste. On the other hand, the possibility of using different ink ribbons gives you more freedom in designing your labels. This printing method is recommended for applications where durability is more important than cost – for example, long-term labeling such as product or food labeling, as well as equipment and quality control labels.
