The Adata Legend 960 M.2 SSD is a powerful and reliable drive that is perfect for gamers and PC enthusiasts. Thanks to the PCIe Gen4 x4 interface, the SSD offers impressive speeds of up to 7400 MB/s read and 6000 MB/s write. Additionally, NVMe 1.4 support provides enhanced reliability and performance. The drive features a rugged metal enclosure that is protected from damage and an integrated aluminum heat sink that effectively reduces heat generation.

3D NAND flash memory

In 3D NAND (also known as V-NAND or 3D V-NAND), the transistors are vertical to the chip surface and the flash memory rows are arranged in layers on top of each other. This achieves a higher storage density and at the same time reduces the risk of interference between the cells. Thanks to the shortened connections between the cells, the electrical performance increases, and power consumption also decreases as a result.

NVMe protocol for less latency

In systems with NVMe support, this SSD particularly shines. You benefit from high throughput, high IOPS and low latency. Unlike the older AHCI protocol designed for traditional spinning drives, NVMe prevents performance degradation, offers faster transfer of large amounts of data, increased boot speeds, and improved system response time.

High speed thanks to direct PCIe connection

This SSD transfers data via PCI Express, which leaves conventional SATA SSDs far in the shade in terms of transfer rates. M.2 SSDs are installed via the M.2 socket on the motherboard. They are particularly suitable for use in ultrabooks and mini PCs due to their compact dimensions, but can also be used in normal computers.
