Researchers have found traces of PFCs in drinking water, air, blood, in polar bears and in breast milk. Some PFCs can even negatively affect reproduction and cause cancer. The harmful fluorocarbons degrade only very slowly – over several hundred years – or in some cases not at all.

Deuter

The company Deuter was founded in 1898 by Hans Deuter as «Mechanische Segeltuch- und Leinenweberei» in Augsburg-Oberhausen and has since undergone constant change.
