The Rocketbook Flip Smart is not a notebook like any other. The polyester compound pages feel like paper, and when you write and draw on them with the right pens, they look like paper with their dot grid. Unlike paper, however, you can completely erase these note pages at any time so you can use them over and over again. For this technology to work, you need pens from Pilot's FriXion series and a damp cloth to wipe out the writing afterwards. Because once the special ink is dry, it can neither be rubbed off nor smudged with dry fingertips. So that you still have the option of storing the notes you have made, there is also a matching, free smartphone app for the Rocketbook Everlast.
Scan, optimize and send note pages
The Rocketbook app is designed to scan the notebook pages before deleting them and manage them individually or even as a series that goes together. Using «Machine Vision» image capture software, the app accurately captures each page and automatically improves the resolution so that your notes are displayed large and clearly. Using seven different icons you can tick on each page, you tell the app whether to send the page directly to a folder you specify in the cloud, to a specific program, or to an email address after scanning. You can also easily create multi-page PDF documents and send them to the desired destination.
